About Glick

This blog emerged from a series of Facebook posts that I was using to engage my friends and family about important political issues. The more I posted, the more I realized that most of the people that I knew weren’t as informed as they wanted to be. Unfortunately, like everyone else they had been turned off by the 24-hour news cycle and constant barrage of information. In turn, I became one of their news sources with some background and political opinion.

I grew up in a relatively rural part of Pennsylvania that had a “drive your tractor to school day” and now I work for a company based out of Silicon Valley. This has given me a wide range of exposure to many different parts of American life and gives me access to different viewpoints that many Americans haven’t seen or heard.

Being a ‘Millennial’ also gives me a different outlook on politics than most of the political world today. Where most of our representatives and reporters are generations older, I’m able to give specific material a different light. I’m also the kind of nerd who enjoys reading jobs reports from the Department of Energy, so I’ll be able to go deeper into important policies and their impacts.

So if you feel like you need a new and fresh experience on the complicated political atmosphere of today, then you’ll most definitely get that here.
